Google is branching out their company with drones. This has not yet made progress to the company itself but they are testing the drones for use.the drones are called unmanned aerial vehicles, called UAVs, they safely carried out more than 30 test flights this month, transporting an assortment of goods including chocolate bars, a water bottle, radios, a first aid kit, dog treats and a cattle vaccine one kilometer. This is said to help in case of emergencies whenever there is traffic and someone is in need of supplies. The google drone wouldn't have to wait through traffic or anything holding it back. Supplies and medicine would be on time all the time.
My opinion on this is that google drones is a wonderful and very smart idea, but i do believe that this would take a lot of time and a lot of money to make it actually happen. This would be better in case of emergencies and could possibly save many peoples lives one day. But as of right now i don't see it spreading out fast without putting a lot of time and effort into doing so, although in the future i do believe that google drones can become a very very smart way to transport goods and medicine in between busy distances and to have more control over what happens.
